Description:
STRAYLIGHT NETWORK IN AL.1
27-NOV-92 09:47:05 QT/H Open /Al.1 Half Norm C 23 2668.0 512x512
-
Network intensity varies depending upon:
1. Position of solar image with respect to pinhole.
2. Time since CCD bakeout.
3. Other factors which distort shape and location of network structure on CCD.
-
It is believed that this network is caused by
stray visible light passing through the large pinhole in the lower left
and reflecting off the CCD and then back off of the Al.1 filter.
The structure is caused by wrinkles in the Al.1 filter.
