Description:
COMPARISON OF YOHKOH COMMANDED AND TRUE ATTITUDE
(Drift since the end of 1994.)

In 1995 it was noted that there was a continuous drift of the Yohkoh
commanded attitude and the pointing derived from the SXT images and the
HXA. The program SXT_CMD_PNT.PRO was written to compute an approximate
correction for this effect. This plot illustrates that it may be time
to refit the parameters of the correction algorithms to take into account
accumulated error since the end of 1994.

Note that for most analysis purpose this error does not matter as the
attitude is based upon the HXA aspect solution. The commanded pointing
is primarily used for engineering-type studies.
