Nitta Date: 4 August 1998 06:45 JST Subj: SXT Table upload for Tuesday morning, Pass 1. Pass 1: 4-Aug-98 08:02 JST (3-Aug-98 23:02 UT) Table ID: 980803 P1 ARS2 HIDA ########################################################################### THIS TABLE HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED TO KSC ########################################################################### COMMENT: Today's target for the Hida campaign is AR 8294, which was at N18E16 on at 3-Aug-98 00:00 UT. A BBSO image from 2-Aug-98 indicated that this was an emerging flux region. A more recent BBSO image (3-Aug-98 16:54 UT) still shows signs of flux emergence. Because we don't have new images since 2-Aug-98 06:54 UT, when the region was still tiny, we are not completely sure about the pointing. Moreover, there is a possibility that part of AR 8283 will be covered by our FOV, which may be re-centered on it if it is brighter than AR 8294. So we may want to upload a table at pass2 with minor changes. Stay tuned. The teminator filter is now switched to Be. PLAN: We may upload a similar table with minor changes at pass 2 if the PFI FOV does not center on AR 8294. We will contact you if that is the case. Otherwise, the next table will be at pass 3 (4-Aug-98 02:27 UT), as scheduled, a standard ARS1/FFI dominant table. PRINT JOBS: Compare: T Command: U CONTACTS: For home phone calls: N.
