                THIS TABLE HAS BEEN SENT TO KSC.


PURPOSE:

It has been discovered that the SXT CO made a mistake in preparing 
SXT Table ID [950812 P2 ARS0 FILAMENT]. In the interests of security
and speed, this replacement table is designed to perform "standard" 
observing over the operations holiday Sunday.


EXPLANATION:

In preparing the Filament Table for Pass 2, the SXT CO made sure that
the QT/HI PFI table referred to a particular OBN (Observing Box Number)
for the fixed pointing PFI coordinates. However, he neglected to look 
at the QT/MED PFI table, which referred to a DIFFERENT OBN for the same 
fixed pointing observations. Because the pointing coordinates for the 
QT/MED PFIs were not changed, the coordinates from the previous Filament 
upload table were used.

Although the problem was minor, and could easily be fixed to continue
filament observations, the SXT Chief Observer recognizes that it is not
standard procedure to do fixed pointing observations over a holiday.
Furthermore, only Pass 5 is available for solutions without making 
unreasonable haste. Hence, it has been decided to upload this Standard
table on Pass 5.

The SXT CO thanks the SSOC and KSC tohban once again for their alertness 
and invaluable assistance to SXT operations. Sumimasen. Thank you all.

PLAN:
