Dear FlareGenesis Telescope This morning's data again show that the SXT target has been splitted between AR 8806 and AR 8798. However, the former seems to be more flare active. The M5 flare at 22-Dec-99 19 UT came from AR 8806 -- it occurred while Yohkoh was in SAA, so flare mode was not triggered. I again recommend that both TARGET 1 (flare) and TARGET 2 (filament) be AR 8806. SXT partial frame images will be there for the next 20 hours or so. A smaller region (AR 8808) to the east of AR 8798 has shown recurrent point-like brightenings. This region may grow rapidly. But it will be covered by full-disk images. Best Wishes, N. V. Nitta
