A NEW LOOK AT THE SUN --- An image of 1.5-million degree gas in the Sun's thin,
outer atmosphere (corona) taken by the Extreme ultraviolet imaging telescope on
the joint European/US Solar and Helisopheric Observatory (SOHO) spacecraft.
Every feature in the image traces magnetic field structures. SOHO is a joint
European Space Agency (ESA)/NASA program of international cooperation.
