Kim started out as an applications programmer with the HXRBS instrument group on SMM, and helped create and maintain the CGRO BATSE solar flare database at the SDAC, where she was system manager. She currently has operational responsibility for the EOF Core System (ECS) hardware and the EOF LAN.
