Written 20-Jun-2024 by Kim Tolbert The Reuven Ramaty High Energy Solar Spectroscopic Imager (RHESSI) recorded X-ray and gamma-ray data between 3 keV and 17 MeV from the Sun between February 2012 and April 2018. Please see the RHESSI web site at https://hesperia.gsfc.nasa.gov/rhessi for a complete description of the mission, the instrument, and the software needed to analyze the data. These directories contain RHESSI eventlist FITS files for every flare in the RHESSI image archive. These eventlist files contain all photon events detected during the time interval of the flare between 3.0 and 310.0 keV. Eventlist files contain an intermediate product derived from the Level-0 data files. When constructing visibilities, images, spectra, and other final products from the Level-0 data, the first step is always to make an eventlist. Using eventlist files as input to the RHESSI image or spectrum software saves that extra step. Please see https://hesperia.gsfc.nasa.gov/rhessi3/data-access/rhessi-data/eventlists/index.html for information about how to use the eventlist files.
