Points Of Interest
LASCO will be supporting the Equatorial Coronal Holes Campaign
(Jan 10 - Jan 13, and Jan 17 - Jan 22). The observing sequence
consists of high cadence (5 minutes) C2 orange Filter images at
100 sec exposure for 6 hours periods (14:55 - 20:55 UT) between a
pair of Pb sets. FOV: half-field (512x1024) over the West. No C3
images during that time.

03:30 UT S East 'Pair formation'.
08:55 - 14:55 UT C2 Equatorial Holes Campaign
Note time change with respect to previous
days (see also Points of Interest above)
23:30 UT S East Bright and wide expanding loop front (a diffuse
brightening can already be seen starting at
21:30 UT). Twisted inner structure. C3 shows
a relatively narrow loop front (first seen at
00:42 UT) toward SE followed by the big and wider
loop front behind (first seen at 02:18 UT). WIDTH
of the wider loop front in C3 at 05:42 UT (the next
day): ~ 90 deg. The narrow loop front fades throughout
C3.
