Points Of Interest
2008/01/07 (Monday)
02:54 UT S East Jet-like front.
03:30 UT NN West Faint and diffuse expanding loop front
preceding the development of an elongated loop
front on NW. GOES reported a B1.2 X-ray flare
on NOAA AR 10981 (N27W08) between 02:26 -
02:45 UT with peak emission at 02:45 UT. EIT
195 images show a wave (and dimming) with
origin on the AR developing mainly toward N.
19:30 UT EN East Slow development of a system of faint loop
fronts (difficult to give an exact time of
first appearance). Clear gradual (although
faint) event by the beginning of next day.
