LASCO Activity Report for
August 6, 2007 SOHO Science Daily Meeting

Planner: K. Schenk, G. Stenborg

Event times are first frame seen in C2 camera unless otherwise noted.
These are preliminary observations for the daily SOHO science discussions.
Final analysis is reported on the Lasco CME list.

Points Of Interest

2007/08/03 (Friday)

	00:54 - 05:27	LASCO Data Gap (C2 time).

20:54 UT W Limb	Ragged front starts to be discernible developing
			toward WSW.

21:54 UT NN East	Slow development of an expanding loop front,
followed by another one at 01:54 UT on next day.

2007/08/04 (Saturday)

	08:30 - 14:30 UT	LASCO Data Gap.

15:30 UT W Limb	Slow development of a system of very faint ragged
fronts. Difficult to give an exact time of first
appearance. It becomes clear by 18:54 UT. A ragged loop
front follows at 19:31 UT a little bit to N. Faint
expanding structure toward SW (barely discernible in
C3). Width of the event in C3 03:18 UT -the next day-
(not considering the faint expanding structure):
			~ 50 deg.

17:54 UT SS East	Faint, diffuse, and very elongated (jet-like) loop-
like front. It fades throughout C2.

18:30 UT S East Jet-like front.

21:30 UT N Pole	Jet-like front.

2007/08/05 (Sunday)

16:54 UT S East	Diffuse jet-like front.

20:58 UT N Pole	Jet-like front.

2007/08/06 (Monday)

03:30 UT E Limb	Faint and very diffuse front that fades in C3, very
 			close to its inner edge.

10:06 UT E Limb	Brightening in ESE, develops as an asymmetric and
diffuse loop front. It fades throughout C3, not far
			from its inner edge.
