- Comet McNaught entering the C3 FOV (upper left) early on 2007/01/12,
very bright!
2007/01/11 (Thursday)
05:06 UT E Limb Very faint and diffuse front that quickly fades.
12:54 UT E Limb Another very faint and diffuse front that quickly
fades.
16:00 - 22:00 UT NO LASCO CME watch program due to special
C2 Observation program (polar coronal hole/
plumes study in the NORTH: orange filter at
100 sec exposure with a 5 minute cadence of
the upper part of the FOV -1024x416-).
2007/01/12 (Friday)
01:54 UT WN West Initially bright ragged front. It fades throughout C3.
GOES reported a C1.5 X-ray flare on NOAA AR 10933
between 01:18 - 01:49 UT with peak emission at
01:38 UT.
