LASCO Activity Report for
November 8, 2005 SOHO Science Daily Meeting
Planner: K. Schenk, G. Stenborg
Event times are first frame seen in C2 camera unless otherwise noted.
These are preliminary observations for the daily SOHO science discussions.
Final analysis is reported on the Lasco CME list.

Points Of Interest
2005/11/07 (Monday)
02:30 UT NN East Diffuse jet-like front.
05:30 UT N East Very slow development of an extremely faint (in fact,
barely discernible) and diffuse expanding front,
that seems to extend up to past the N Pole. Difficult
to give an exact time of first appearance. It is
apparently first seeen in C3 above the N Pole by around
16:42 UT, fading by the end of the day.
08:30 UT S West Initially bright loop front. It fades throughout C3.
Gusty outflow.
15:30 UT NN West Diffuse jet-like front.
23:06 UT N East Another faint and expanding asymmetric loop front
Complex Event (though much clearer than the one reported to start at
05:30 UT). It extends up to past the N Pole. It is
first seen in C3 at 00:42 UT on next day, barely above
the NNE limb. Note that a diffuse and fainter expanding
front seems to develop at the time of the event
previously described (superposed in the LOS and
apparently faster), mainly toward N.
2005/11/08 (Tuesday)
06:30 UT WS West Ragged loop front that fades throughout C2.
11:54 UT N West Faint loop front.
Last C2 image available by the time of writing: 15:30 UT.
