September 28, 2005 SOHO Science Daily Meeting

Points Of Interest

- EIT CME watch in 304 on 2005/09/28 between 07:19 - 19:25 UT, in support 
  of filament observations (#7155).

- Sungrazer comet starts to be visible in the C3 FOV entering from the 
  lower right quadrant on 2005/09/28 @ ~ 18:42 UT.

SOHO KEYHOLE #10 telemetry period: Aug 31-Sep 28, 2005.

During the Telemetry Keyhole LASCO will be in improved synoptic cadence 
of C2 at 12 mins cadence and C3 at 30 mins cadence, including daily 
orange/blue filter fielding images.


2005/09/27 (Tuesday)

	00:00 - 01:43 UT	Data Gap.

05:54 UT  S West	Slow development of a system of faint loops along the
			streamer. Difficult to give an exact time of first
			appearance.

Otherwise, mostly quiet.

2005/09/28 (Wednesday)

01:54 UT  ES East	Initially diffuse front develops as a big and asymmetric
			bright loop front. By 04:54 UT the event spans from
			the N Pole up to the S Pole (on the eastern hemisphere).
			EIT 195 images do not show signatures of a frontsided 
			(nor limb) event by the time.

Last C2 image available by the time of writing: 12:54 UT.
