LASCO Activity Report for
March 7, 2005 SOHO Science Daily Meeting

Planner: K. Schenk, G. Stenborg

Event times are first frame seen in C2 camera unless otherwise noted.
These are preliminary observations for the daily SOHO science discussions.
Final analysis is reported on the Lasco CME list.
An archive of these reports is available.

Points Of Interest

- 26 m Telemetry Keyhole began on 2005/03/02.

- Venus entered the C3 FOV from the right on 2005/02/26
(by the end of the day).

2005/03/04 (Friday)

SS West	Some outflow in the form of faint and diffuse loop
			fronts all along the day.

20:54 UT W Limb	Diffuse loop-like front that fades throughout C2.

21:08 UT N East	Jet-like front that quickly fades. Another one on NNE.

22:06 UT EN East	Jet-like front develoing toward E.

2005/03/05 (Saturday)

00:06 UT W Limb	Elongated and diffuse loop-like feature that
			apparently fades throughout C2.

01:54 UT W Limb	Ragged loop front. It fades throughout C3.

11:30 UT NN West	Very elongated and narrow feature that fades
			throughout C2.

13:54 UT W Limb	Elongated loop-like feature developing slightly
toward WSW. It fades throughout C3.

14:30 UT ES East	Faint and very diffuse front that quickly fades.

2005/03/06 (Sunday)

03:30 UT W Limb	Ragged loop front. It fades throughout C3.

05:30 UT E Limb	Elongated and expanding loop-like front. It fades
			throughout C3.

05:54 UT S East	Bright loop front followed by a cavity and a bright
inner core (typical 3-part structure CME). EIT 195
recorded a backsided filament eruption between 05:24 -
			06:24 UT.

	16:54 - 19:31 UT Temporary Data Gap.

19:54 UT W Limb	Faint ragged loop front already under development
after data gap. Fainter extensions ahead extending
to SW. Infalling material to S.

20:59 UT S East	Small ragged front.

2005/03/07 (Monday)

	00:00 - 03:30 UT	Temporary Data Gap.
