00:54 UT EN East Bright ragged loop front followed:
i) at 02:30 UT, a little bit to S by another bright loop
front (narrower),
ii) at 05:30 UT, at roughly the same PA as the one at 02:30,
by another similar front, which in turn it was preceded
at 04:30 UT by a fainter and elongated ragged front,
iii) at 07:31 UT by a wider (like the first one) bright
ragged loop front and trailing material,
iv) at 09:54 UT by a bright and relatively narrow ragged loop
front,
v) at 14:30 UT, by another ragged loop front, and
vi) at 19:54 UT, by a bright and big ragged loop front with
structured inner part.
During the day, GOES reported several C class X-ray
flares from NOAA AR 0687, most likely associated to
the events seen in C2:
- a C7.8 X-ray flare (N11E60) between 00:18 - 00:52 UT
with peak emission at 00:40 UT,
- a C4.3 X-ray flare (N11E62) between 02:10 - 02:18 UT
with peak emission at 02:15 UT,
- a B4.9 X-ray flare (N09E57) between 04:00 - 04:11 UT
with peak emission at 04:08 UT,
- a C2.0 X-ray flare (N05E60) between 05:05 - 05:15 UT
with peak emission at 05:12 UT,
- a C5.2 X-ray flare (N08E57) between 06:44 - 06:57 UT
with peak emission at 06:53 UT,
- a B9.8 X-ray flare (N11E55) between 09:21 - 09:41 UT
with peak emission at 09:34 UT,
- a B9.9 X-ray flare (N07E53) between 14:01 - 14:08 UT
with peak emission at 14:06 UT.
- a C9.9 X-ray flare (N10E50) between 19:24 - 19:56 UT
with peak emission at 19:48 UT.
06:30 UT NN West Narrow jet-like front that quickly fades.
07:31 UT WS West Faint ragged loop front and some trailing material. It
fades throughout C3.
17:30 UT S West Faint and diffuse front barely visible in C3. Couple
of C class X-ray flares from NOAA AR 0682. Peak
emissions at 14:42 UT (C1.7 at S14W42), and 15:22 UT
(C4.3 at S13W41).
20:06 UT N West Faint 'half' loop front expanding toward WNW.
02:30 UT N East Bright and narrow loop-like structure followed at
04:30 UT by a ragged loop front. Very faint in C3.
08:30 UT N East 'Explosive', bright, and wide loop front. Trailing
material. Faint extensions on SE. M2.2 X-ray flare
from NOAA AR 0687 at 07:50 UT.
09:30 UT WS West Very faint and diffuse front extending up to above
the W limb. Too early to say if it is associated to
the previous event or if it is a beast of a different
source.
