April 02, 2004 SOHO Science Daily Meeting
Planner: K. Schenk, G. Stenborg
Event times are first frame seen in C2 camera unless otherwise noted.
These are preliminary observations for the daily SOHO science discussions.
Final analysis is reported on the Lasco CME list.
An archive of these reports is available.
Points Of Interest
SOHO is now in a telemetry keyhole (2004/03/19 - 2004/04/04). LASCO data
will consist of typically two (occasionally three) continuous periods of
real-time data per day.
Beginning at 00:00 UT on March 18, 2004 EIT will be in CCD bakeout mode;
No EIT images until April 5, 2004.

12:00 - 21:20 UT Data Gap
21:40 UT S East Slow development of faint system of loops along
streamer.
23:05 UT N East Bright loop front, cavity and twisted core. Typical
'flux rope' event. Mean plane-of-sky speed at PA ~56:
425 km/sec, showing slight acceleration (based on C2
data).
