LASCO Activity Report for
March 19, 2004 SOHO Science Daily Meeting

Planner: K. Schenk, G. Stenborg

Event times are first frame seen in C2 camera unless otherwise noted.
These are preliminary observations for the daily SOHO science discussions.
Final analysis is reported on the Lasco CME list.
An archive of these reports is available.

Points Of Interest

SOHO is now in a telemetry keyhole (2004/03/19 - 2004/04/04). LASCO data
will consist of typically two (occasionally three) continuous periods of
real-time data per day.

Beginning at 00:00 UT on March 18, 2004 EIT will be in CCD bakeout mode;
No EIT images until April 5, 2004.

2004/03/18

01:37 UT E Limb	Narrow (sharp) loop front developing slightly toward NE.
			Very faint in C3.

07:00 UT N East	Very faint ragged front barely discernible in the gusty
outflow along the streamer. At 08:00 UT faint and small
spray front slightly to S of streamer. Both events fade
			throughout C2.

08:00 UT E Limb	Very faint narrow and ragged front. Another one at ~
12:00 UT. Ragged loop front at 09:20 UT slightly to N.
			All events fade in C2.

12:00 UT N West	Ragged front and trailing structure along streamer.

16:20 UT S West	Big bright loop front and twisted inner structure.

16:40 UT S East	Narrow spray-like front. Barely visible in C3.

2004/03/19
