Points Of Interest

2004/03/02

00:30 UT S Pole Faint loop front.

01:54 UT S East	Faint ragged loop front preceded by infalling material.

06:06 UT E limb	Following event reported to start at 18:54 UT on
previous day, jet-like front developing slightly
toward S, preceded at 02:30 UT by a very faint jet-like
front, and immediatly followed by another one
at 06:54 UT. More narrow ragged fronts at 11:54, 13:31
and 14:54 UT. In C3 they are all only barely visible
			close to the occulter.

13:31 UT S West	Faint ragged front and trailing material. Difficult
to give accurate time of first appearance. It fades
			throughout C3.

22:30 UT S West	Fairly faint ragged front developing toward SSW.
C1.7 X-ray flare on NOAA AR 0567 at 21:49 UT, and
another one (also C1.7) from the same region at
23:27 UT. Fainter ragged front follows at 00:06 UT
			on next day.

23:54 UT S East	Bright ragged loop front, cavity, and twisted inner
structure. At ~ 21:12 UT EIT Fe XII running difference
images show CME coming out from behind SE limb. For
the time being, it cannot be given more details due to
			following data gap.
