LASCO Activity Report for
February 3, 2004 SOHO Science Daily Meeting

Planner: K. Schenk, G. Stenborg

Event times are first frame seen in C2 camera unless otherwise noted.
These are preliminary observations for the daily SOHO science discussions.
Final analysis is reported on the Lasco CME list.
An archive of these reports is available.

Points Of Interest

2004/02/02

S West	Gusty outflow all along the day.

01:54 UT S East	Infalling material starting close to the outer edge of
			C2 (PA ~111).

04:30 UT N East	Bright loop front with strong cavity and trailing
material, at PA of that of the southern loop's leg of
event at 22:30 on previous day. At 08:06 material is
seen to fall down starting at ~2.80 solar radii, and
at 09:54 a ragged front develops. More infalling
			material afterwards. Gusty outflow.

14:06 UT S West Faint ragged front, already in progress. Barely visible
			in C3.

15:30 UT N East	Bright and small ragged front. It fades throughout C2.

2004/02/03

00:06 UT S East Very slow development of a loop's system along streamer.

02:54 UT N East	Fast ragged elongated loop front, brightest to S at the
			beginning. It fades throughout C3.

04:30 UT S Pole	Extremely faint blob falling down and a similar one
going outwards. Separation point at ~ 3.2 solar radii
			(PA ~193).

07:31 UT N East Bright spray front followed at 09:06 UT by a narrow
			ragged loop front.

08:30 UT N West Fairly faint spray-like front. It fades throughout C2.
