Points Of Interest
Bright sungrazing comet visible in C3 and C2 images
2003/11/26 - 27, right up to C2 occultor
2003/11/26
13:27 UT S East Narrow spray like front with some gusty
outflow, another at 21:50
2003/11/27
05:06 UT S West Fairly narrow loop front with cavity,
brightest to N. Fades somewhat through C2
06:06 UT S West Ragged loop ront slightly to S of previous
event, fades and disintegrates through C2
08:50 UT S West Wide bright highly structured system of
loop fronts fills quadrant by 11:50.
Cavity follows then small bright structured
core by 12:26. Flux rope event leads to
partial streamer blowout. Much gusty outflow
into next day including fronts, blobs and
infalling material originating high up
12:26 UT S East Ragged front along streamer
15:06 UT N East Ragged front along streamer, slight cavity
follows then some gusty outflow
2003/11/28
06:50 UT S East Slow loops and loop fronts move very slowly
along streamer. Faster brighter ragged fronts
follow some hours later. Partial blowout
still in progress at writing
11:26 - 13:27 UT Temporary DSN data gap
