Points Of Interest

LASCO images severely degraded following the 
X18 proton flare from AR 0486 2003/10/28 and
X11 proton flare from AR 0486 2003/10/29. 

LASCO images are at irregular times and cadences
due to the impact of the proton levels on the
instrument's telemetry buffer

20:54 UT  HALO		Bright front in S is fast bright full halo CME
			by 21:08. X11 X-ray flare AR 0486 S18W06.
			Proton levels raised again

2003/10/30

01:51 UT  E Limb        Bright spray-like front, quite wide

10:23 UT  S East        Narrow loop front with some gusty outflow
