LASCO Activity Report for
September 22, 2003 SOHO Science Daily Meeting

Planner: K. Schenk, G. Lawrence

Event times are first frame seen in C2 camera unless otherwise noted.
These are preliminary observations for the daily SOHO science discussions.
Final analysis is reported on the Lasco CME list.
An archive of these reports is available.

Points Of Interest

None today

2003/09/18

08:54 UT W Limb	Slow narrow front disintegrates through C2

14:54 UT W Limb	Sequence of ragged loop fronts and slight
cavities to N of previous event

17:54 UT S West	Ragged front along streamer, quite bright

2003/09/19

12:30 UT E Limb	Faint narrow ragged front fades and
			disintegrates through C2

2003/09/20

04:30 UT W Limb	Fast wide bright loop front with cavity
			and core and plentiful outflow

09:30 UT W Limb	Another fast wide bright loop front with
cavity and core and plentiful outflow,
very similar to previous event. EIT
			eruptive prominence possibly destabilised
			by previous event

13:54 UT E Limb	Faint ragged asymmetric front

21:54 UT N West	Bright narrow front with slight cavity

23:06 UT N West	Bright ragged asymmetric front fills
			NW quadrant. Backsided event

2003/09/21

03:54 - 08:30 UT	Temporary DSN data gap

08:30 UT Partial	Wide bright loop front initially fills NW
Halo quadrant spans ~120 deg from SW to NE.
			Backsided event. Much prolonged outflow
including faint wide slow loop fronts in
which eventually span down to E limb

17:30 UT E Limb	Faint wide loop front

21:06 UT Partial	Another wide bright loop front, similar
Halo span to 08:30 event but faster brighter
			and rather asymmetric

2003/09/22

00:54 - 03:30 UT	Temporary DSN data gap

03:54 UT E Limb	Sequence of fairly faint loop fronts with
			slight cavities already in progress

03:30 UT N Pole	Asymmetric loop front with cavity

03:54 UT W Limb	Narrow ragged front
