Points Of Interest

Comet C/2002 X5 (Kudo-Fujikawa) is now visible in the
C2 field of view. A special observing campaign is in
progress, through 2003/01/31.

Synoptic observations will be modified during this period.


2003/01/27

01:25 UT  N East	Narrow spray-like front, some gusty outflow

10:39 UT  S East	Ragged front along streamer

22:23 UT  Partial	Wide bright thick loop front over S pole spans
	  Halo		~140 deg by 23:39, with faint extension in E
			and NW and possible extremely faint material 
			in the N. Large cavity and small bright 
			structured core with fainter extensions follow 
			to S. Large EIT eruptive prominence in SW
