LASCO Activity Report for
January 21, 2003 SOHO Science Daily Meeting

Planner: K. Schenk, G. Lawrence

Event times are first frame seen in C2 camera unless otherwise noted.
These are preliminary observations for the daily SOHO science discussions.
Final analysis is reported on the Lasco CME list.
An archive of these reports is available.

2003/01/17

00:06 UT N East	Fairly slow loop front system, quite faint,
brightest to N, possible core-like region

02:30 UT N West	Wide nebulous loop front fills most of
			quadrant, initially bright in central
			region

05:30 UT S West	Large infalling blob starts at ~5 Rs

06:30 UT N East	Narrow ragged front fades through C2

10:30 UT N East	Ragged loop front, quite bright, gusty
			outflow including some fronts foolows

11:30 UT S Pole	Narrow ragged loop front, some gusty
			outflow follows

01:31 UT N Pole	Small faint blob

03:54 UT N East	Narrow ragged front

10:34 UT S East	Ragged loop front disintegrates through C2

19:54 UT N East	Ragged front along bright streamer, cavity
			and some gusty outflow follow

2003/01/19

02:30 UT S East	Faint blob

06:06 UT S East	Ragged loop front disintegrates through C2

12:54 UT S East	Faint fast jet

15:30 UT N East	Faint loop front extends to N pole

			follow from ~13:31

16:54 UT S East	Faint narrow spray-like front

18:30 UT N West	Wide bright loop front with clear cavity
and bright structured core. Some gusty
			outflow. Large EIT eruptive prominence

with cavity and bright complex core.
Some gusty outflow, large EIT eruptive
			prominence

2003/01/21

01:31 UT N West	Narrow ragged front, possibly residual
