The bright object to the S in C3 images is 
Alpha-Scorpio (Antares)

03:06 UT  E Limb	Wide fan, quite bright

	09:30 - 13:31 UT	Temporary DSN data gap

17:30 UT  HALO		Thick wide bright loop front in NW is
			full halo CME by 18:54 UT, though faint
			in S. EIT limb/backsided prominence.
			Much prolonged outflow in NW

22:26 UT  S West	Ragged front along streamer

23:06 UT  N East	Wider ragged front along streamer, slight
			cavity follows. Both events possibly
			destabilised by halo CME

2002/12/03

03:06 UT  W Limb	Initially quite faint narrow ragged loop front 
			expands and brightens through C2, slight cavity

	06:06 - 12:54 UT	Temporary DSN data gap
