Points Of Interest
Increase in proton levels between 09 - 11 UT 2002/05/23
as interplanetary shock (from previous days' halo CMEs?)
passes L1 point
2002/05/22
03:50 UT HALO Wide bright loop front in SW is full halo CME
by 04:06. Slightly slower than previous events.
Much trailing material and some gusty outflow
over W limb. Large EIT eruptive prominence a
little to N and E of previous flare, which
possibly destabilises the prominence
12:06 UT S East Narrow ragged front along streamer
20:50 UT N East Faint spray-like front along streamer
23:06 UT N West Loop front moves out along streamer to initiate
blowout. Prominence material visible by 08:50
