Points Of Interest
None today
2002/05/21
00:26 UT E Limb Narrow loop front along streamer, fades
quite quickly
04:26 UT N West Narrow bright loop front along streamer,
cavity and core follow
10:50 UT S West Loop front moves out along streamer which
has been swelling and rising for ~12 hrs.
Streamer blowout.
21:50 UT Partial Wide bright loop front with cavity and much
Halo trailing material. Faster towards centre and
at legs giving the LE a 'W'-shaped appearance.
Quite fast. Spans ~140 deg. M1.5 flare
AR 9960, N17E38
23:50 UT S West Wide bright loop front with cavity and core,
faster than previous event. Much trailing
material. Spans ~180 deg. C9.7 flare
AR 9948, S25W64. Earth-directed component
probably small
2002/05/22
03:50 UT HALO Wide bright loop front in SW is full halo CME
by 04:06. Slightly slower than previous events.
Much trailing material and some gusty outflow
over W limb. Large EIT eruptive prominence a
little to N and E of previous flare, which
possibly destabilises the prominence
12:06 UT S East Narrow ragged front along streamer
