Points Of Interest

Comet 96P/Machholz is in C3's field of view, moving a little off-parallel
to the occulting disk pylon. Bright and clear with a long tail. 

Venus is in C2's field of view moving right to left (large object on right).


2002/01/04

04:30 UT  N West	Bright narrow jet

09:30 UT  HALO		Wide bright loop front in NE fills quadrant,
	  		also has very faint emission around much if 
			not all the disk. EIT eruptive prominence 
			centred ~E70 so possible earthward component

	C2 Running Difference movie

2002/01/05

05:30 UT  S West	Very faint front is followed by a sequence of
			narrower, fainter, slower fronts and loops 
			along wide, bright streamer for ~24 hrs until
			~15 UT next day

2002/01/06

14:06 UT  N West	Fairly wide ragged loop front with small cavity
			and some core-like material. Gusty outflow to N

15:06 UT  S West	Brightest, widest fronts along wide bright streamer
			leads to removal of greater part of streamer

2002/01/07

	No significant coronal activity to time of writing
