Points Of Interest

Kreutz comet SOHO-367 (TBC) (disc. X-M. Zhou) visible in C3 images
from 2001/10/22 02:42 UT. Very bright coma with extended tail for
duration of flight. Last observed in C2 2001/10/23 at 18:26 UT,
at 2.5 Rs, PA 204, though the tail remains visible for several 
images afterwards.


2001/10/23

06:50 UT  N West	Slow loop front along streamer leads to partial
			blowout over prolonged period

06:50 UT  S West	Small blob/very narrow front, quite bright

07:27 UT  S East	Very slow loops along wide, bright streamer,
			leads to almost total blowout. Possible 
			disconnection from 20:54

09:50 UT  N East	Ragged nebulous front with much gusty outflow

2001/10/24

02:50 UT  E Limb	Ragged asymmetric front, bright features in
			N East and S East, but straddles equator

06:26 UT  E Limb	Faint loop front with bright central feature
			and very faint extension to N Pole
