Points Of Interest

Proton levels now normal in both C2 and C3 following the
proton event on 2001/10/01

2001/10/03

01:31 UT E Limb	Bright loop front with cavity and core which
			resolves to a multiple-loop system

02:30 UT S East	Multiple loop front with bright core-like
material to S. Spans ~100 deg. Some continued
			outflow particularly in S
	C2 Running Difference movie

07:31 UT N West	Narrow bright front along resurgent streamer.
			Small cavity follows

12:30 UT S West	Fairly fast bright ragged front with cavity

15:30 UT Partial	Bright loop front in N and N West is ~200 deg
Halo partial halo CME by 17:06. Also very faint
extensions visible over S Pole, probably a
shock. Arcades follow over N Pole, some gusty
outflow in NW and NE. Backsided event

	C2 Running Difference movie

20:30 UT E Limb	Large blob, quite faint

23:06 UT N West	Fronts and arcades emerge along streamer destabilised
			by earlier partial halo CME

2001/10/04

02:54 UT S East	Fairly wide loop front

04:54 UT S East	System of somewhat wider and brighter loop fronts
from same/similar region as previous event. Some
			gusty outflow towards S

06:54 UT S West	Fast bright ragged front with small cavity
