These are preliminary observations for the daily SOHO science discussions.
Final analysis is reported on the Lasco CME list.


Points Of Interest

LASCO's doors are open as of ~14:00 UT 2001/07/02.
The regular white-light synoptic program was resumed 
at this time. Also, the additional C2 and C3 pB 
sequences that were being taken in support of JOP 139, 
the Ulysses quadrature and the total eclipse, have 
been discontinued.


2001/07/02

	No white-light images until 13:49 UT (C3) and
	13:54 UT (C2) - doors closed

14:06 UT  E Limb	Large faint blob already in progress

19:31 UT  N West	Fast narrow bright spray

23:54 UT  N West	Approximate time of appearance of prominence
			material along wide bright streamer group
			after loops rise slowly for hours. Forms bright
			multiple-loop front midway through C2. Arcades
			follow to end of data 

2001/07/03

02:30 UT  S East	Fairly narrow bright front with small cavity
			and core. Backsided event

07:31 UT  S West	Fairly fast narrow fan over takes small faint blob

	10:54 - time of writing		Temporary data gap
