Points Of Interest

Kreutz comet (SOHO-316?) disc. M. Oates
in C2 on 2001/15/23. Last observed at 
11:50 UT at 5.33 Rs and at PA 205.

Kreutz comet (SOHO-317?) disc.K. Cernis
in C2 on 2001/15/23. Last observed at 
13:28 UT at 5.80 Rs and at PA 203.

Saturn is presently transiting C3's field of view, 
moving left to right below the ecliptic plane.

03:52 UT  W Limb	Very faint narrow front

07:29 UT  S West	Faint slow loops start to rise after narrow
			streamer brightens for hours beforehand

08:06 UT  N West	Faint narrow spray

15:26 UT  S West	Faint front fades in C2

18:06 UT  S East	Fairly bright narrow front, followed by a
			second similar event

18:52 UT  N West	Faint spray

20:50 UT  N West	Another spray, faster brighter and further S

00:06 UT  N West	Another faint spray, same/similar region to
			18:52 event

08:06 UT  N West	Slow faint front

09:26 UT  N West	Faint spray, same/nearby region as 00:06 event

11:50 UT  N West	Faint front with brighter central feature
