LASCO Activity Report for
May 21, 2001 SOHO Science Daily Meeting
Planner: K. Schenk, G. Lawrence
Event times are first frame seen in C2 camera unless otherwise noted.
These are preliminary observations for the daily SOHO science discussions.
Final analysis is reported on the Lasco CME list.
Points Of Interest
Kreutz comet SOHO-314 (disc. M. Oates) first observed in
C2 on 5/19/01 and subsequently found in C3. Last visible
5/19/01 at 23:50 UT, at 3.9 Rs and PA 193.
Saturn is presently transiting C3's field of view,
moving left to right below the ecliptic plane.
