LASCO Activity Report for
Febuary 21, 2001 SOHO Science Daily Meeting

Planner: K. Schenk, G. Lawrence

Event times are first frame seen in C2 camera unless otherwise noted.
These are preliminary observations for the daily SOHO science discussions.
Final analysis is reported on the Lasco CME list.

Points Of Interest

EIT bakeout and LASCO high cadence campaign ended ~20:00 UT 2/20/2001
All timimgs prior to that time are approximate, accurate to ~15 mins
due to only a small selection of the high cadence data being viewed.

2001/02/19

21:30 UT HALO (?)	Bright front over E and NE with faint extensions
elsewhere. Certainly appears to surround ~270 deg.
No EIT data, checking other sources.

2001/02/20

12:35 UT S West	Faint wide spray

13:35 UT W Limb	Sequence of two fairly wide bright loops

15:00 UT N East	Wide bright front fills whole sector, followed by
cavity and complex, helical core. High cadence
			data for C2 and ~half of C3

17:00 UT N West	Bright front with cavity and core, not as wide
			as above event

20:36 UT S Pole	Narrow ragged bright front

21:46 UT S West	Bright feature ejected along streamer. Followed
by slow faint loops for rest of day

23:54 UT N West	Narrow bright Y-type dsconnection feature, part
			of 17:00 event?

2001/02/21

04:06 UT N East	Slow loops begin to rise. 'Core-like' material
visible by ~11:06. Still in progress at end of data

06:30 UT S West	Brightest feature within slow rising loops
			(since 21:46)

11:30 UT N West	Faint slow ragged loops
