Points Of Interest
Kreutz comet SOHO-295 (discovered by M. Oates) was observed in C2 data
on 2001/02/08. It was obscured by the pylon in C3 images. Most recent
observation: 06:06 UT, at 6.6 Rs and 130 degrees. More information at

06:30 UT S Pole and further E. Small faint blob; correct start
time of previously reported event.
06:54 UT E Limb Wide (~90 deg) system of fronts and loops; correct
start time of previously reported event.
17:06 - 24:00 LASCO doors closed for EIT offpointing exercise
2001/02/09
00:00 - 02:42 LASCO doors closed for EIT offpointing exercise
03:10 - 08:20 Temporary DSN data gap. Also, no subsequent data
data at present due to reformatter error.
