Points Of Interest

New Kreutz comet, SOHO 294. Most recent position was 10.5 Rs at PA 116.3 
at 12:42 on 2/7. Discovered by D. Biesecker(?). More information at

2001/02/06

11:54 UT  S East	More slow loops from the same region as earlier (EIT
			EPL). More similar loops at 12:30, 14:06.

14:06 UT  S East	As above but slightly further north. More similar
			loops at 18:54, 21:30 

23:54 UT  N West	Bright front w. large cavity and initially compact
			core that rapidly resolves to a system of flux ropes 
			and loops. Still in C2 FoV at end of data
 

2001/02/07

07:31 - 11:54 Temp DSN data gap

11:54 UT  Halo(?)	Faint front well into C2 at this time. Brightest over
			W limb from N Pole, but discernible around rest of
			occulting disk.
