January 30, 2001 SOHO Science Daily Meeting

Planner: K.Schenk, G Lawrence

Event times are first frame seen in C2 camera unless otherwise noted.
These are preliminary observations for the daily SOHO science discussions.
Final analysis is reported on the Lasco CME list.

Points Of Interest

None Today.....

2001/01/28

15:54 UT West Limb	Full bright loop front HALO CME. Proton
particles emitted and visible in white light.
results of M3 flare of AR9313 with associated
			filament channel disturbance.
17:06:05 UT C2 Running Difference Image.

23:30 UT SS West	Faint wide front, slow.

23:54 UT S East	Rough LE front, dissipates quickly.

2001/01/29

12:06 UT West Limb	Narrow jet-like CME.

13:54 UT S West	Jet.

14:06 UT N Pole	Rising loops over limb. Multiple loopings.
			Continued outflow. No apparent eruption.

15:30 UT East Limb	Rising loops over limb in East. At 17:06 UT
a separate CME splits the loop front. This
event at a different PA and height. This
later develops to partial multi event HALO CME.
PA 15-240 degrees. Very complex, much continued
			outflow.
17:30:07 UT C2 Running Difference Image.
19:31:50 UT C2 Running Difference Image.

2001/01/30

03:54 UT S Pole	Rough LE event, slow. Filament related.
			Continued outflow.
