Points Of Interest

New bright comet visible in C3. Probable Kreutz. First reported 18:42 on 2000/10/09

2000/10/06

09:50 UT S Pole	Very bright loop front event. Symetric LE.
Multiple loop core with continued outflow.
11:50:05 UT C2 Running Difference Image.
C2 Running Difference Movie Of Event.

13:50 UT W Limb	Faint front, fades rapidly in C2. Also gusty ejecta
			slightly further south

15:06 UT N West	Narrow jet (along streamer?). Further similar events
			at 17:06, 21:26. Obvious non-radial motion

2000/10/07

02:50 UT SS East	Fast narrow ragged front (easier seen at 03:34)

07:27 UT W Limb	Faint narrow front, fades rapidly in C2

09:06 UT S Pole	Faint jet/blob

17:06 UT NN East	V faint narrow jet

17:50 UT N East	Wide bright fast jet. Similar events from same region
			at 21:50, 01:27 (10/8), 03:26, 06:06, 12:26 (slower)

2000/10/08

01:27 UT SS East	Streamer outflow followed by loops/front and ragged
			outflow after

07:50 UT N West Gusty outflow for ~10hrs

09:50 UT N West	Faint front/blob, fades rapidly in C2

12:06 UT E Limb	Wide jet/spray

2000/10/09

09:06 UT S West	Faint front, brighter material follows

15:50 UT W Limb	Loop fronts, already in C2 at this time

20:26 UT S West	Ragged ejection

23:26 UT S East	Ragged ejection

23:50 UT Halo Bright front in NW becomes full halo. Probably
associated with C6.7 X-ray flare from AR 9182
from 23:19 - 00:21. First seen in EIT at 23:24

2000/10/10

05:06 UT S Pole	Slow arcade w core
