SOHO/LASCO Partial HALO CME 111206 BACKSIDED UCMEO 93001 11206 1430/ 11206 61000 91255 1912/ 048// 323// 40532 11206 60905 81015 ///// 11360 4212/ 99999 PLAIN SOHO/LASCO observed a partial HALO CME on December 6, 2011. Event is first seen in C2 at 10:00 UT as an expanding loop front with extensions over the west and north. The approximate width of the CME spans pa 191-48 degrees totaling 217 degrees wide. The event continues into the C3 field beginning 10:54-12:55 UT to 11.9 Rsun at last image while event is still in progress. Time/height measurements were marked at 7 points in C2 with speeds of 521.3 Km/sec at position angle 292 degrees. The event is marked to 5 points in C3. Speeds average through both fields to 531.7 Km/sec at PA 287 degrees. Acceleration of 0.31 m/sec^2. SDO AIA 193 shows an expanding loop cme over the NW limb beginning 09:33 UT. STEREO: Beacon data COR2 B, 10:25-11:40 UT cme over east and north hemispheres. Preliminary height/time measure was taken on COR2 B beacon data showing 667.0 km/sec. EUVI B 195, 06:26-10:26 UT data gap. COR2 A, 10:24-11:54 UT partial halo cme over north and west fields. Preliminary height/time measure was taken on COR2 A beacon data showing 575.0 km/sec. EUVI A 195, dimming from AR in NW 09:05-10:15 UT. (AR 11360) The observation of this event is considered 'GOOD'. This CME is determined a BACKSIDED event.
