COMMENTS:  Partial HALO CME — BACKSIDE
                           Rising loop(s) seen in AIA 193A over the North West limb begining 21:57 UT.
                          
                          LASCO velocity: 1500.6 km/sec  Acceleration: 21.10 m/sec^2
                          SEP -  Solar energetic particle event detected by SOHO - Increased flux > 15.8 MeV protons
                                      exceeds 10^-1 pfu/MeV starting 2026-05-25 23:34 UT.

SOHO/LASCO  HALO CME May 25, 2026 

C2 Start Time:      22:12 UT

C3 Start Time:        22:30 - 02:54 UT  

Type of CME:
Partial HALO CME — BACKSIDE
pa1:  178      pa2:  065       Total Width:  247 degrees

Velocity Measurements:

C2    3 points     1707.0 km/sec @ PA 310
C3    6 points     1515.9 km/sec @ PA 310 
Average through both fields:      1500.6 km/sec  Acceleration: 21.10 m/sec^2.  


COMMENT:  SDO AIA 193A shows a loop rising over the NW limb beginning 21:57 UT
      at position angle 290 degrees. 

     LASCO C2/C3 shows an asymetric Partial HALO CME over the West and North.
             
     STEREO Beacon Data
     COR2 A,  has a gap in data 20260525 20:53 - 01:23 UT and missed
     most of the event.   
     Preliminary time/height measure could not be calculated at this time.
