2145/ 51030 60424 80648 0452/ 045// 333// 51655 51030 60342 80424 ///// ///// 3112/ 99999 PLAIN SOHO/LASCO HALO CME October 30, 2025 C2 Start Time: 04:24 UT C3 Start Time: 04:54 - 07:24 UT Type of CME: Partial HALO CME — BACKSIDE pa1: 45 pa2: 45 Total Width: 360 degrees Velocity Measurements: C2: 4 points 1452.4 km/sec @ PA 25 C3: 5 points 1606.5 km/sec @ PA 25 Average through both(C2/C3) fields: 1655.6 km/sec Acceleration: -53.23 m/sec^2 COMMENT: A partial, backside HALO can be seen in LASCO C2/C3 @ 04:24 UT along the Northeast quadrant. This partial HALO event is visible in COR2-A in the Northern hemisphere first appearing @ 04:53 UT. SolarSoft reports the origin of the CME deriving from a prominence eruption behind the Northeast limb N22E88 accompanied by shockwave propagation. The prominence eruption can be seen in GOES-19 SUVI Composite 195 Angstroms with opening lines commencing @ 04:28 UT. The opening lines associated with the prominence eruption begins @ 03:42 UT as shown in SDO AIA 193 near the Northeast limb. Preliminary UCMEO velocity and position measurements are delivered first.
