A faint core can be seen propagating towards the southeast direction. NOAA/GOES reports a CME associated with a X1.3 solar flare from AR 13777 [S04,W22]. Moving field lines can be seen in SDO 193 @ 19:18 UT with a flare peaking @ 19:33 along with a EUV wave. Due to gaps in data from 18:38 - 22:53 UT in STEREO/COR2 AHEAD, preliminary time/height measurements cannot be made. Despite a loss in data at the beginning of the CME event, STEREO/COR 2 AHEAD shows a partial HALO with a bright leading edge in the southeast direction. Preliminary UCMEO velocity and position measurements are delivered first. Images, movies, and time/height information for this event will be available at: https://umbra.nascom.nasa.gov/lasco/observations/halo/2024/240808/ Best Regards, --Taylor Lanier BT [Images from original message are omitted here] ________________________________________________ Soho-halo-alert mailing list Soho-halo-alert@lists.nasa.gov |
