1500/ 40601 61900 80018 0002/ 360// 123// 40920 40601 ///// ///// ///// ///// ///// 99999 PLAIN SOHO/LASCO HALO CME June 1, 2024 C2 Start Time: 19:00 UT C3 Start Time: 19:30 UT Type of CME: Symmetric HALO CME — BACKSIDE pa1: 000 pa2: 360 Total Width: 360 degrees Velocity Measurements: C2: 4 points 915.0 km/sec @ PA 108.27 C3: 10 points 916.2 km/sec @ PA 108.40 Average through both(C2/C3) fields: 920.8 km/sec Acceleration: -9.38 m/sec^2 COMMENT: LASCO C2/C3 shows a full asymmetric halo CME emerging from the East with a bright leading edge. As the halo CME propagates outwards in all directions, it wraps around to the NW into a full halo. The source of this CME is likely a backsided eruption as evidence of faint field lines beyond the east limb seen starting at 18:39 in AIA 171. STEREO Beacon Data COR2 A, due to gaps in data from 21:23 UT - 01:23 UT preliminary time/height measurements could not be performed at this time.
