The halo cme is associated with two flares centered on S23W21(AR 3664) with GOES Class ratings M9.9 and M9.7 respectively. The flares are accompanied by a wide EUV wave and wide opening lines seen best in SDO AIA 171. NOAA/GOES reports a M9.9 flare from S23E21(AR 3664) 22:04/22:27/23:30 UT NOAA/GOES reports a M9.7 flare from S23E21(AR 3664) 22:05/22:27/22:45 UT STEREO Beacon Data COR2 A, due to gaps in data from 05/08/2024 20:53 UT - 05/09/2024 01:53 UT the halo CME could not be captured .Preliminary time/height measurements could not be performed at this time . Preliminary UCMEO velocity and position measurements are delivered first.
