The CME progresses outwards towards the SE, while wrapping towards the W. The CME is the result of a M1.6 class flare beginning at 2/21 23:58 centered on S35E85 just about to rotate onto the visible disk. The flare is followed by ejecta and post eruptive arcades seen best in SDO AIA 171/304. NOAA/GOES reports a M1.6 flare from S35E85 23:58/00:14/00:31 UT STEREO Beacon Data COR2 A, due to gaps in data from 02/21/2024 13:23 UT - 02/22/2024 03:23 UT the halo CME could not be captured .Preliminary time/height measurements could not be performed at this time . Preliminary UCMEO velocity and position measurements are delivered first.
