The CME progresses outwards in all directions with the bulk of the CME being in the S direction. The CME can be seen wrapping around the N into a full halo by 2:48 UT in C2 imagery. The CME is the result of a backsided eruption likely from AR 13575, evidence of opening field lines beyond the southern limb starting around 1:15 UT seen best in SDO AIA 173. STEREO Beacon Data COR2 A, due to gaps in data from 02/15/2024 12:53 UT - 02/16/2024 02:53 UT only the ending of the halo CME could be captured .Preliminary time/height measurements could not be performed at this time . Preliminary UCMEO velocity and position measurements are delivered first.
