PLAIN

SOHO/LASCO observed a HALO CME [B] on March 05, 2014. Event is first seen
in C2 at 13:48 UT as a loop over the North. A full asymmetric HALO develops
with cavity and core by 14:12 UT. The event continues into the C3 field
beginning 14:06 to 20:06 UT leaving the C3 field at 30 Rsun in the North.

Time/height measurements were marked to 3 points in C2 with speeds
of 1026.8 Km/sec at position angle 20 degrees. The event is marked to 7 points
in C3. Speeds average through both fields to 997.1 Km/sec at PA 20 degrees.
Acceleration 43.55 m/sec^2.

STEREO: Beacon Data
COR2 A, 13:39-15:39 UT expanding loop over the North and West.
Preliminary time/height measure gives 931.0 km/sec velocity at LE.
EUVI A, 13:25-13:55 UT bright flare from AR on disk in the NW.
A transient dimming and wave are seen propagating outward.
COR2 B, 13:55-17:25 UT expanding partial halo Northward.
Preliminary time/height measure gives 921.4 km/sec velocity at LE.
EUVI B, 13:26-13:56 UT bright flare of an AR on disk in NE quadrant
with dimming and wave.

The observation of this event is considered 'Good'. This CME is determined a BACKSIDED event.
