SOHO/LASCO observed an asymmetric HALO CME on October 22, 2013. Event is first seen in
C2 at 21:48 UT as a faint loop over the South. The event expands with extensions
to a full halo by 22:24 UT. The event continues into the C3 field beginning
22:30 to 06:54 UT leaving the field of view at 30Rsun in the South.
Time/height measurements were marked to 5 points in C2 with speeds of 657.6 Km/sec
at position angle 217 degrees. The event is marked to 11 points in C3. Speeds average
through both fields to 561.5 Km/sec at PA 217 degrees. Acceleration 0.32 m/sec^2.
SDO/AIA 193A shows a flare of an emerging flux region at location [N04, W00] West of
and adjacent to AR 11875 beginning 21:15-21:36 UT. The flare produces a dimming
and a wave across the Southern hemisphere.
STEREO: BEACON Data
COR2 B, 22:40 UT image shows an expanding loop over the West and Southwest. A data
gap starts 22:55-05:55 UT.

NOAA reports a M4.2 Xray flare 21:15/21:20/21:22 UT from AR 11875. This report
is associated with the flare seen in AIA data.
The observation of this event is considered 'FAIR'. This CME is determined a FRONTSIDED event.
