SOHO/LASCO observed a partial HALO CME on October 08, 2013. Event is first seen
in C2 at 22:00 UT as faint multi-loops over the North and Northeast. The event
expands with extensions PA327 to PA130 for a total width of 163 degrees. The
event continues into the C3 field beginning 23:45 to 09:30 UT where it dissipates
at 28 Rsun.
Time/height measurements were marked to 11 points in C2 with speeds of 247.9 Km/sec
at position angle 47 degrees. The event is marked to 11 points in C3. Speeds average
through both fields to 344.2 Km/sec at PA 47 degrees. Acceleration 16.69 m/sec^2.
SDO/AIA 193/304 show an eruptive filament on the East limb at [N34] 07:36-12:00 UT.
Part of this channel is still intact which activates at location [N29, E46] and
erupts 17:33-00:42 UT with dual ribbon flaring on disk. Eruption of this event
triggers the lower channel at location [N03, E08] which erupts 18:00-20:30 UT
producing flaring on disk and a dimming of the area.
